Landscapes

Nature in Landscapes

One of my favorite types of shot is framing nature in my landscape shots. Especially during the early morning when the sun is rising and the colours in the sky add extra atmosphere to the shots

The natural world

Scenic shots from across the UK showing the beauty of nature across the four seasons.

Nature in Landscapes

Puffin Island

Puffins are full of character and this landscape shots shows them and Skomer Island in all its glory

Swan Lake

Mother nature is wonderful. To my mind the early morning colours are the best. The mist and Swan are just icing on the cake!

Swan Salutation

One of the best mornings ever. A stellar sunrise and an obliging swan

Frozen beauty

Frosty morning

Peaceful scene from a park on the outskirts of London just before sunrise on a freezing cold morning. The frost covering the plants was stunning

Frozen sunrise

On a freezing cold morning, there is nothing like the warmth of the sun as it comes of the the horizon, bathing the scene in golden light

Misty calm

Mist starting to rise of the frozen start as the sun starts to warm up the air

Golden Light

Sunrays at Sunrise

A sunrise that almost didn't happen. And then behind the clouds the rays broke through, lighting up South Shields lighthouse

Morning Savannah

A well known landmark from a London park, that is sadly no more. It really could be taken on the African savannah

Sunrise serenade

A personal favorite. Golden early morning light, perfect nature scene and the serenading Swan.
